Yummy tasty "food"

Hey everyone, I'm back. I had to take short break. I wanted use up part of my energy on other things such as rolling over, talking and trying to sit up. I had to help Amma pick earrings for me too. Yes, they pierced my ears. Yes, I did cry (a lot!). But, Amma was there to "pacify" me.

It's 2011 (with resolutions)

That's our tree and this is my outfit :

This was just about Christmas. What about the year 2010? I was not "outside" for the greater part. But still there, hidden from the public eye!

I went to NYC and Hawaii and I could hear all the excited sounds coming from outside. But, I was only supposed to arrive in October. 2011 is my year and I will show all of you what I can do.

So, here are my resolutions :

1) I will try to be a good girl on the airplane to India

2) I will enjoy food (mashed, pureed, whatever!)

3) I will try to be more like Ettan now. He is my role model.

Small body, fewer resolutions. I think that's the right way to do it.

a "cold" week

I didn't enjoy this week at all. It was cold, outside and inside. Bad bad cold! So uncomfortable, Amma had to put a something into my nose and suck it out. I felt so much better after that.

Ettachhan, Ettamma and Ettans came here. Ettan had a blast, I heard. He was making a lot of noise. They were all having pizza without including me in the fun. I could only drool. waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Right now, I think I should just satisfy my hunger with "mashes". But, one day, I will have teeth just like all of you. I will be eating everything (well, edible........)

Weeks of Firsts

Lots of firsts this week!

First big snowfall of the year :

Wow! That’s something. First time since 1991! Everyone was talking about it. I couldn’t sleep. It was a cold day and also exciting.

First trip to THE Mall of America :

Ettan and Achhan go round ‘n’ round on the bus (I could hear Ettan laughing all the way, while Amma was getting worried if Ettan will get scared)

I had my own ride in my li’l stroller. Muthassi is fun. She knows how to entertain me. Well, I was sleeping most of the time. But……………….

First set of vaccinations (ouch! Waaaaaaaaaaaa……………..):

I got 4. The first one was ok. The nurse gave it in my mouth. Something called Rotavirus. The name is scary, but I liked it. But, then came the cruel part. She poked me with needles. 3 times! I got so scared that Amma had to carry me the whole day and night (I was crying, of course……..)

It was kind of like this, but with my eyes and mouth closed. I was sleeping through it all. The pictures are for my passport. Going to India next year for the first time! Excited? I don’t know. Should I be?

busy weekend

Saturday was supposed to be passport day. But, it got postponed to upcoming Friday. Achhan will be taking a vacation from work that day. One whole day with Achhan and Amma? Yay! I am excited!

We spent the Sunday with Ichamma and Aniyaphan. Well, I was sleeping most of the time (Amma says she is sleep deprived because I don't let her sleep. But, I get all her attention at night. Ettan will also be asleep at that time) Shhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was aware of all the fun they were having. They were talking about Amma’s beef fry and Muthassi’s mushroom curry. Yum yum! It’s a long wait before I can have any of those.

Like my outfit? It's very cosy (and it's not pink!!!!) I could sleep in it. No worries!

I wore it to the clinic. Amma had a doctor's appt. I hope everything is okay with her.

Another day, It seemed like Amma was in a hurry. for what? Well, Amma just told me that I should be a good girl until she comes back and not give my muthassi (granny) any trouble. Ok, let's wait & watch.

Wanna know what she came back with? My birth certificate! Wow, so quick! Amma is happy. So, I'm happy.

I love my ettan. He is slowly understanding my presence in the family. I want to run around the house making noise, but I guess I'll have to wait. Till then, let's just watch and learn.

Halloween at cousins'

My ettans (cousins and big bro) were so tired that day with all the trick-o-treating. They were so lucky to get all those candies. I wish I was with them! I hope I get to go next year.

Thanksgiving at Aphans'

I had so much fun. Everyone except us kids were playing cards and making so much noise. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep even a wee bit. Finally, I had to wail and turn everyone's attention towards me.

I have so much to look forward to. So many places to see, so many new people to meet. Wow, I am waiting!
